  • Monday January 1, 2021, 6pm EST: All Rosters must be imported and validated 

  • Sunday January 3, 2021, 10am EST: Online Team Check-In opens

  • Wednesday January 13, 2021, 6pm EST: Online Team Check-In must be completed (no exceptions)

  • Friday January 15, 2021, 6pm EST: No changes can be made to rosters

  • Friday January 15, 2021, 6pm EST: Teams must fill out the COVID questionnaire ON THIS DAY

    • this will be turned into the official on your court before your FIRST match of the tournament.​

  • Each person listed on a team's official roster must have a valid USAV Full Membership. 

    • This does not apply to Foreign Teams.

  • All requirements must be complete in order for your roster to be "validated" in SportWrench before you complete the Online Team Check-in process.

 

Important Note

Due to USAVs recent change to Sport Engine for their member management system, we (LBS) no longer have access to specific roster validation issues like we have had in past. We now only have access to see if rosters are, or are not, valid. PLEASE do not wait until the last minute to complete the above checklist as the response time will be dictated off of when USAV has members to assist you with these issues.

Staff Requirements

  • A valid background screening and SafeSport certification must be completed for all adult staff members.

  • There is a maximum of 5 staff members per team.

  • All staff must have an assigned "Role"

  • There is a maximum of 3 Primary staff members per team. (see Admission for Coaches below)

  • Head and assistant coaches must have completed IMPACT certification. **Region exceptions do NOT apply.

  • Cell phone numbers are required for each coach

  • An IMPACT certified coach, listed on the roster, must be present on the bench at all times. 

  • Junior players, at least 10 years of age and duly registered with USAV, may be on a roster as a staff member as a Manager.​

Roster Requirements

  • NO AGE WAIVERED PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED ON ANY ROSTER*                     

  • A maximum of 15 athletes are allowed on rosters

  • All athletes listed on the roster must have a birthdate and uniform number listed.

  • Athlete's position is mandatory before a team can complete online team check-in.

  • In order to complete team check-in, the following things below must be completed: 

  • Staff rosters​

  • player rosters

Staff Tickets

  • Coaches assigned as a “Primary” staff member will receive an email with a QR code Ticket for admission

  • This will only happen once the online team check-in is completed

  • Additional coaches, chaperones and managers will need to purchase a regular spectators ticket to enter.

  • If you have a junior age Team Manager that you want to have assigned as Primary staff, please contact us at info@lilbigsouth.com.

  • There is a maximum of 3 Primary staff members per team.

COVID Attendee Safety Protocols

Below you will find the attendee safety protocols as it regards to COVID-19 and our event. Please review the document in its ENTIRETY before attending the event. Any changes to the document made before the event will be released to our teams, through our newsletter, social media platforms as well as on our website.

We will be requiring both spectators and teams fill out a COVID questionnaire before play begins on Saturday, Jan. 16th. 2021.

 

The questionnaire will be sent to the directors to distribute to their teams and their parents on:

  • Monday, Jan. 11th at 10am EST 

The questionnaire needs to be filled out on:

  • Friday Jan. 15th, 2021.

The questionnaire will be turned in to the tournament staff differently for Teams than Spectators:

  • For Teams:

    • Each Team will be required to fill out a questionnaire for the TEAM as a whole

    • The head coach will be required to hand in the questionnaire to official on their court for their first match of the tournament.

Agreements To Attend

By attending, spectators AND teams are agreeing to:

  • Filling out a COVID questionnaire that will be handed in on your first entry of the event.

    • The questionnaire needs to be filled out on Friday, Jan. 15th, 2021.

    • TEAMS BRING A HARD COPY AND GIVE TO OFFICIAL AT THEIR FIRST MATCH.

  • Parents with children in both waves will be able to re-enter with the same ticket after the first wave.

    • DO NOT RE-ENTER THE BUILDING IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SECOND CHILD PLAYING.
  • ALL SPECTATORS & ATHLETES MUST LEAVE THE FACILITY AFTER THEIR PLAY HAS ENDED.

    • We are suggesting that siblings playing in opposing waves do not attend the other wave to watch.

  • Ticketed Spectators are the only ones who are allowed to sit in the spectator seating section.

    • Athletes who are not playing will be asked to leave the building if they are sitting in the spectator seating sections.
